Expensive film ever

Director Shankar is always known for his grandeur. Now his upcoming film  has crossed all the boundaries in terms of budget. Superstar Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer Endhiran was touted to be Rs 100 crore project when it was launched in 2008.
Then it was said to be Rs 120 crore. The budget shot up to Rs 150 crore when Sun Pictures took over the production. Now, according to the latest buzz, ‘Endhiran’ has touched around Rs 200 crores! This is easily the biggest in India.

The Bollywood film 'Blue', starring Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt
and Katrina Kaif, with production cost of Rs 110 Crores, tops the list now.

The film will have a mammoth worldwide release with more than 2000 prints. The film will also be released in China where the super star has a huge fan following like he does in Japan.

it is known that the music launch of ‘Endhiran’ was held in Malaysia. Sources say that a special music release function will be held in Tamilnadu in the first week of August to cater to Rajini’s fans.
